Ki Strong

Ki began her yoga journey in Dallas 24 years ago.

She began taking classes at various fitness clubs and studios, then became interested in Ashtanga yoga.

In 2013, Ki was certified (200 ytt) through Birmingham Yoga, under her teacher Akasha Ellis.

Ki has facilitated yoga experiences at gyms, studios, retreats, parks, event centers and even a Spartan Cruise!

She has taught kids yoga, mommy and me, partner yoga, restorative, vinyasa flow, Kundalini and Ashtanga. She has worked with CrossFit and MMA athletes, 91 year old grandmothers, and everyone in between! After teaching for several years at various venues in Coalgate and Ada, Ki finally found a permanent home for Yoga Circle Ada right here on 12th street downtown.

Currently working on her 500hr yoga certification, Ki looks forward to teaching teachers and expanding the presence of yoga in Ada.

Katrina McCurdy

Katrina McCurdy has been living in Ada with her beloved husband, daughter, and Boston Terriers on their hobby farm for over 20 years. She has dabbled in yoga for decades but fell in love with the Yoga Circle community and classes prompting a more disciplined practice. Her other passions include knitting, gardening, and reading poetry. Her favorite pose is pigeon, which is great for hips and the lower back. You will see her at St. Luke’s church most Sundays and leading some of the Noon Namaste classes. She completed her 200hr YTT certification in 2022.

Caleb Large

Caleb is 26 years old and started his yoga journey 3 years ago. He currently resides in Ada, Oklahoma and has lived in Ada for 14 years. He has two french bulldogs, Olive and Chunk. A photographer and avid reader, you can typically find him with a camera in hand or reading a book with his frenchies. He completed his 200hr yoga certification with The Kaivalya Yoga Method and plans to complete his 500hr training next. You can find him teaching Sunset and Saturday flows. His favorite pose is Utthita Trikonasana (Triangle pose).

Leeah Marie

Leeah Marie is a country girl from Francis, OK and is a lifelong Ada area resident. She has 3 children, and has even become a Yaya to her first sweet grandson! After back surgery made her reevaluate her life choices, she decided to try yoga. She attended Backwoods Music Festival on her birthday in 2014, where she joined a yoga group in the grass every morning. She fell in love with yoga and practiced at home by herself and with online leaders. On her birthday in 2016, Ki encouraged her to lead her first class, and has been sharing it with others since. A nature lover, hiker, and solo adventurer at heart, she attended her first yoga retreat in Santorini, Greece in 2017. There have been many beautiful Mentors in her life for whom she is grateful. She completed her 200hr teacher training in spring of 2023. You will often see her stop-drop-yoga in her favorite pose Sirsasana (headstand.) Come join her Sunset Flow multiple times a week at Yoga Circle.

Becca Bruner

Becca is 32 years old and has been a Certified Yoga Instructor for the past 3 years. She has lived in Ada for 11 years with her daughter, Tylar and two dogs, Bob and Rey. Some of her hobbies include yoga, working out, cooking, traveling, snowboarding, festivals, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite Yoga Pose is Pigeon Pose (Kapotasana). Becca is happy to be a part of the yoga circle family.

Saja Faisal

Saja’s yoga journey began during her college years, serving a much-needed refuge from the stresses of college. Upon graduation, Saja booked a solo flight to Bali, where she immersed herself in the enchanting world of yoga. It is there that she became a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, acquiring profound wisdom and deep connection to the practice.

Saja moved to Ada in 2022, and is working in public health for the Chickasaw nation. Embracing the supportive environment of Yoga Circle Ada, Saja found a nurturing space to further refine her teaching skills and deepen her connection to the practice.

Her favorite pose is revolved triangle (parivrtta trikonasana). This pose symbolizes finding balance and strength amidst life’s twists and turns. Eager to share her passion with others, Saja aspires to ignite a collective passion for yoga, fostering a sense of well-being and harmony.
